Prawn is one of the most popular seafood consumed worldwide, it has a soft shell with a sweet taste and a fine texture with tenderness suitable for all types of cooking.

Shrimp are small, aquatic crustaceans found in oceans, rivers, and lakes all over the world. They are known for their slender bodies, long antennae, and segmented shells that allow them to move with surprising agility through the water. Most shrimp are only a few centimeters long, though some species can grow larger depending on their environment. Their semi-transparent bodies often take on shades of pink, brown, or gray, helping them blend into their surroundings and avoid predators.

Shrimp play an important role in aquatic ecosystems as both predators and scavengers. They feed on plankton, algae, and organic debris, helping to keep their habitats clean and balanced. In turn, they are a vital food source for many fish, birds, and larger marine animals. Some species even form symbiotic relationships with other sea creatures—for example, cleaner shrimp remove parasites from fish, benefiting both organisms.

Beyond their ecological importance, shrimp are also highly valued by humans. They are one of the most widely consumed types of seafood in the world, prized for their mild flavor and versatility in cooking. From grilling and frying to boiling and steaming, shrimp are featured in a wide variety of global cuisines. Their combination of ecological significance and culinary popularity makes them one of the most recognizable and important crustaceans in the world.
