HORSE MACKEREL

The Horse Mackerel forms large schools in coastal areas with sandy substrate depths of 100–200 meters or near the surface waters. It has a large head, slender and compressed body (fork length around 25 centimeters) with a dark blue color, silvery flanks and a white belly.
